Incarceration Generation

"Among those born in 1990, one in four black children, compared with one in 25 white children, had a father in prison by age 14. Risk is concentrated among black children whose parents are high-school dropouts"

Of course no where in this NY Times article do drugs or addiction make its way into the story. You and I know it can't be told without such a mention.

 I  now work with this population right in the heart of affluent Westchester County. It's like treating a pandemic of influenza with a dose of echinacea.
